I’m very excited to announce that my installation, tin birds, has been accepted to both SEAMUS 2016 at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA, and to the New Music Miami ISCM Festival. I’ll be at the SEAMUS event, which runs from February 11 to February 13, so if you’re going to be there as well, be sure to say hi and check out my installation!
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to Miami for their event, but if you’ll be in the area, check out my installation, as well as the wonderful concert they’ll be putting on — Kathleen Supové is a fantastic performer and there are some great works programmed for the show.
Additionally, this semester Elliot Sharpe will be our guest professor for composition seminar at Wesleyan, and I’m looking forward to working with him! I’ve got a few pieces in the works, including a couple for electronics, so we’ll see where this semester winds up taking me.
